The number 8 is the next number after the number of completion, 7. It is the number of new beginnings and resurrection.
The connection between the number 8 and new beginnings is first seen in the account of the flood where there were 8 souls on the ark to begin to fill the earth once again.
The number 8 is again used for the day of circumcision. Physical circumcision is a physical picture of the spiritual operation that God does on a person when they are born again and become a new creation in Jesus Christ. God cuts away their flesh from their soul so they can become fruitful.
Deuteronomy 16:16 contains the command for the 3 times in a year when men were to appear before the Lord. It is at 3 feasts which point prophetically to the 3 parts of the resurrection or harvest.
1 Kings 8 has 66 verses in it to match the 66 books of the Bible. It speaks of the eighth day and the careful reader should match it with the 66th book (Revelation) and the new heavens and the new earth. The new heavens and the new earth are also mentioned in Isaiah 66:22 (sum of the digits).
The anti-Christ’s number is 666. This probably means that the gematria of his name equals 666. The gematria of Jesus name is 888. He is the resurrection.
